Buses
Bridge is served by 4 buses - 16,16A,17 and 89, operated by Stagecoach. All Northbound buses go to Canterbury and Soundbound buses to Folkestone, Dover and Aylesham.

Need help getting to the doctors or hospital? Want to meet villagers for cup of coffee or borrow a book? The Fish Scheme is there to help. More information
Fish & Chips
A snack van, serving Fish & Chips, Burgers, Curry, Bacon Rolls etc visits the layby by the recreation ground (Patrixbourne Road) every Thursday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm

Fish & Chips are also available daily (Mon-Fri) from the White Horse Inn. Serving takeaway Cod & Chips for £6 from 12-2.30pm and 6-9pm.

Flooding
Sandbags are stored in the hut behind the pavilion on the recreation ground. Please contact a Parish Councillor if you need sandbags.
Gates
In accordance with current guidelines, please leave gates as you find them - unless you see someone open a gate and not close it (especially in fields with livestock).

Mobile Library
The mobile library is operated by Kent County Council and visits Green Court every Thursday from 4.30pm to 5.15pm
Neighbourhood Watch
Bridge is divided into three sections: East, West and Bridge Down. East and West refer to the areas relative to the High Street.

The Parish Council produces a newsletter three or four time a year. Every household in Bridge should receive one.

Please report anything you feel is suspicious - vandalism, graffiti, drugs, harming livestock etc. You can report anonymously, so don't remain silent for fear of reprisals.
Post
Last collections in Bridge are: Mon-Fri 5.45pm, Sat 10.30am, Sun (box outside the Post Office only) 1.30pm.
Note that the last collection from the Post Office (weekdays) is 5.15pm - and if you want to send something by Special Delivery, you need to get it there by 5pm. more>>>
Recycling
Recycling collections are every other Thursday. The next one is next week (18th March)
If you need more clear bags, these are available from Pam, 48 High Street or from the SERCO offices opposite Sainsburys.

Street Lights
Since April 1st 2005, the street lights are no longer the responsibility of the Parish Council, so if you notice a street light not working, please call KCC highways on 0845 8247800.

WEA
Littlebourne and Bridge WEA meet at Littlebourne Village Hall. More
