Can you help us?

Could you spare 2 hours once a month to support the young people of Bridge?

In March 2006 the current funding for the youth group ends. Currently it is a joint venture between the Countryside Agency, Canterbury City Council and the Parish Council. Each session is run by two Canterbury City Council youth workers supported by a volunteer from the Parish (who needs to have a current Police Check}. We now only have two volunteers and it would be great to have more to share the load. When the current project ends we will need a minimum of eight volunteers to keep a youth group in Bridge. we meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month in the Village Hall between 7 pm - 9 pm. We are working at full capacity nearly every session with a waiting list, so we are well supported - please help us to keep this group going if you can.
