Canterbury City Council are trying to make sure that local business are aware of the various business support measures and are able to claim for government cash grants during the lockdown.
The range of measures can be found on the council’s website at https://www.canterbury.gov.uk/coronavirus-advice-businesses
Most specifically though, they are aware of a number of businesses for whom they don’t hold bank details who have not yet come forward to claim the grants available to them. They have written to all businesses who they believe are eligible and asked them to provide their details but they also know that many are unable to pick up the post from their usual place of work and so have missed the letter.
The process to claim a grant doesn’t take long and they would urge you to check for your premises. You can either click through to the business grant section using the link above, or the following link takes you directly to the claim form page. https://openportal.ekservices.org/scripts/OPENPortal-Live.wsc/ndr/ndrgrant.p?org=03
