Public Consultation June 2026

In June 2026 Bridge PC and Bridge Fields (Kent) held a public consultation on the Bridge Fields development including the New Village Hall Development.  It was a good turnout for the consultation with around 100 attendees.

Together with members of the PC, representatives from the development team and project consultants, presented and answered questions about the proposed development.  Bridge Fields Development

Provision of the new village hall, sports facilities, housing, open space and community garden were the main aspects supported.

The main concerns about the development were related to parking and traffic flow but this was matched by the number of attendees noting that they had no concerns. Overall, a very positive response.

The next stage is to review and tighten the documents to be submitted to Planning. The documents will be reviewed by the PC before submission. It is intended that the planning application will be submitted in August 2026.
